🌿 Panchayat Level Tree Committee
A Panchayat Level Tree Committee has been constituted to protect trees located along public roads and in public places and to prevent accidents caused by them. The committee has been formed in accordance with Circular No. 248/RC3/2016/LSGD dated 14.07.2017 issued by the Local Self Government Department. The committee functions to avoid delays and to ensure timely decision-making in emergency situations.

📋 Main Responsibilities
🌳Assess and evaluate potential risks and hazards.
Inspect whether trees and tree branches pose any risk or danger.

Take necessary action regarding trees that pose a threat to life and property.
🏡 Regulate and monitor private trees.
Provide necessary directions and take appropriate legal action.
📊 Assessment / Evaluation
Conduct valuation of trees to be cut through the Forest Department.
